Vines have no prejudices when it comes to the surfaces they grow on. It could be a well-manicured fence or a powerline. As surfaces are covered, they become unified through nature and lines of separation are blurred. Rebecca Braziel aims to mirror this process of unification by traveling to schools and art centers across Houston with supplies, people of all ages across the city have participated in the creation of an artificial plant life made of fabric. In so doing, various communities have worked together for a common goal using a process so simple that no one can fail and no one can excel; everyone’s contribution blends into to the overall effort.
