Art Encounters is a program at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, co-created in 2019 by Sydney Kreuzman and Rebecca Braziel. Based on the idea that art is for everyone, the program is held in open spaces within the museum, free of charge, and available to all ages. Art Encounters experiences are collaborative in nature with no take-home product; this relieves the pressure of perfection and frees participants to relax into the creative process.
